On 31 May 2017, the final seminar of the module “teaching and learning” was conducted. This marked the completion of the capacity building program as originally anticipated. The workshop was delivered by the professors of University of Bedfordshire. The workshop focused on enabling teacher educators to reflect on their professional practice and how it connects to various teaching and learning theories including behaviorism, socio-cognitive theories, constructivism and socio-constructivism. Teacher educators had to go through a critical reflection process in understanding how their professional practice is currently shaped and in what ways it can best evolve to reflect the current needs for more constructivist learning practices. In addition, participants were once again given instructions on how to complete the task for this module which is developing a theoretical articles on selected teaching and learning theories or a deep critical reflection on their professional practice in relation to the education theories exposed during this module.
